Food, glorious food!!!

One of the reasons we came here was to be able to feed our children well and know exactly what they are eating and where it came from. Growing our own food has turned into one of the quiet joys of this project — a daily rhythm of planting, harvesting and cooking that connects every meal back to this land.

Nothing on our table passes through a chemical hand before it reaches us. What we don't grow ourselves, we trade for or buy from neighbours we know by name. It has changed how our children think about food entirely: less packaging, more patience, and a much better sense of where things actually come from.
